Effective with the adoption of Resolution 2006-05, "Occupancy Permit Fees for the Town of Millington Rental Properties, on July 5, 2006; the Town of Millington will impose a $50 inspection fee per rental property biannually according to a scheduled determined by the Code Enforcement Officer.
All rental properties will be inspected on a bi-annual basis for compliance with Building and Property Maintenance Code standards. The inspection will include but is not limited to: lead paint inspection, structural safety inspection, sanitary and fit for occupancy inspections, and ground maintenance inspection. Property owners will be notified of the inspection schedule to allow adequate time to submit fee payment.
